2014 Durham Forest Thursday Race Series Update
The Long Winter Thaw Causes Race Season Delay
Winter may retreating but it has left us with plenty to remember it by for weeks to come! As a lot of us expected, the large amount of snow and frost received this winter has resulted in a late winter thaw. Local conservation authorities have temporarily limited trail use in the Durham Forest and Walker Woods locations to prevent unnecessary damage during spring thaw. This preventative measure will ensure the trails are kept in optimal shape for all users when the season finally settles in.
New Race Venue For First Night!
We will have to postpone our planned April 17th series start. However, we have been invited to host our rescheduled start night (April 24th) at the private trails of Skytop! Skytop is a series of well built singletrack with plenty of twists and turns, and up and downs to keep your on your toes! Big thanks to the property owners, Frank and Ollie, for extending the invite.

Directions:
Take Hwy 401 East to Brock Rd exit 399. Take Brock Rd north 25km to Coppins Corners. Turn right onto Goodwood Rd 21. Drive East to Mast Rd (next road after Lakeridge Rd). Turn Right (South) onto Mast Rd. Take Mast Rd. to Pinegate Rd. Turn Right onto Pinegate Rd. Driveway to property will be on the Left.
